Captain Zan'si Blackthorn

In the brief time that Soleil had been given to potentially be someone else, the creature Zan'si Blackthorn had entered her story.  Soleil was born into a different life, completely opposite of her first life... The youngest of nine siblings, Sol was the runt daughter of Sir Arthurian Knight, a greedy and abusive man.  His children, with the exception of Soleil and Artemian and one brother: Kayden, were all equally abusive, most often using the girl as their own personal punching bag.  One day, things had gone too far and something had snapped inside her, a spark of her real self.  Artemian of course ran to her aid, but in the end, the two had killed the majority of their new family and fled to Shadow Haven.  Scared, but finally free and confident, the femme ran across Zan'si fird time for the first time.  At that point, she was a young girl, immediately infatuated with the man and his strange talk of the Spoon Wars... He'd made her feel welcome and oddly, safe, and so she made Shadow Haven her permanent home.

At this point, Layla Rajni had found her, leading her away from her dearest friend.  Years passed in the Seregonian Homeland.. and by the time Soleil wandered back to Kasuria, she had well settled into her new role as Queen, having already restored her clan and been on peace missions with the other kingdoms.  On a diplomatic trip, she'd come across Zan'si Blackthorn again... this time working alongside The Flying Dutchman's Captain, Morganna.  Once again, she felt that comfort and longing she'd felt when she was younger, and within hours, he had convinced her to stay aboard the ship and aid them. (This agreement made even more ridiculous by the woman's hatred of ships... in the end, she spent most of her time flying -around- the ship.) Eventually, she realized what her own feelings had become,  acknowledging her friend's relationship with the Captain, and retreating back home to Draconen Prime... Feeling actual rejection for the first time.

Just as much time passed until their next meeting, where everything seemed to change.  It was impossible to say if it was her strikingly Queenesque new form, or just some realization on his part, but it took no time for the two to become mates, marking the first time (in her knowledge) that the Queen had fallen in love, which she did wholeheartedly for some time before running away to stop war in her homeland.  By the time she had returned, too much time had passed in the Kasurian realm, and she'd never found him again.

You cast a spell on me. You hit me like the sky fell on me, and I decided you look well on me. So let's go somewhere no one else can see you and me.

The sun goes down, the stars go out, and all that counts is here and now. My universe will never be the same. I'm glade you came.

Throughout the course of Soleil's total 2000 years, there are only three relationships that made any true lasting imprint on the woman's life: Artemian, Layla, and Zan'si Blackthorn. Each one played a critical role in shaping what Sol has become, both as a person, as well as a leader.  As one could expect of an immortal, her most valuable relationships are those that have crossed the years.

Captain Layla rajni, alias. Infiniti

A widely considered question lingers in the minds of Seregonians.. that one being, would Sol and Artemian have ever found their way back to Maegliin Seregon, and their true lives, were it not for Layla Rajni?  Of course, we'll never know... but it's unlikely.  Without the loyalty she felt for a complete stranger, Soleil may have lived out a terrifying mortal life, and died long ago.  Since Layla had found them all those years ago, the two women had been inseperable.  While often referred to as best friends, most that knew them were hesitant to use this term, as it seemed to bland for their relationship.  These two women's  attachment was visible and palpable through the years, always flirtacious in nature, and despite the fact that they never became intimate, it wouldn't be a shock to anyone if they were to suddenly profess love for each other.  Unfortunately, now that Soleil and Artemian's relationship had returned to it's origin... it was also accepted that the Queen would run back to the arms of her soul mate.

RELATIONSHIPS

General Artemian Knight, alias. adaxial

The undeniable and unchallenged soul mate of Soleil Knight. Artemian and Soleil had been across time and through world's together, less two splitting images of each other and more one entity. In everything they had been through, they always seemed to borrow emotion and feeling from one another, keeping equal amounts of logic and rational thinking between the two of them. In the beginning, Artemian had been created in the same fashion she had been, specifically design to track, find and kill her. When he did find her, it took one look at each other for the connection to ignite. Soleil dropped her sword in one half of a second, and he had offered her his in the last half. For the first four hundred years, they overthrew kingdoms and created an empire together, fueled by some heavenly power that only they understood.

When the two were finally caught, they were stripped from their bodies, condemned to wander the Abyss for a thousand years.  Even this they did together, as impossible an idea as it was... with nothing to tether each other to, they'd still managed to stay together. Somehow they'd managed to become one entity in the Abyss, to the point of where, when their sentence was up and they were to be given new bodies... they instead ended up in a set of twins, Artemian refusing to let go of his other half.  The aftermath of this of course, was misery.  For the next 700 years, the two were forced to live as siblings.  While at first, this had been fine, it soon grew to be torture.  In the beginning, and up until their memories started to resurface, the two had merely been the very closest of siblings, the show of a perfect relationship.

Unfortunately, when memory started to resurface, the two couldn't easily handle what had been done to them, now unable to be together due to their position in the kingdom. By the end of this time, Soleil had become tired, docile, and overlyresponsible... While Artemian became cruel, wreckless and uninterested. There would come a small time at the very end of this phase of their lives where they stopped caring entirely about what people might thing, becoming inscestuos for a short while. Luckily, Sol wouldn't have to deal with the constant anxiety of the relationship for long, finally discovering the way to return things to their original states.

Despite the convenient fix to their relationship, Artemian is still known for long bouts of absence, having lost most of his desire to be around his own kind, and effectively swaying the femme to the possibility of other mates once again.
